To finalize your stay in Gothenburg, we invite you to a lightweight high speed adventure, viewing Gothenburg from the seaside, cruising in the archipelago.
Our host, Styrsöbolaget, will take us on a tour in one of their high speed carbon fibre ferries, the first in the world approved according to the International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft (HSC Code) by IMO. They will tell us facts about the ship and the advantages gained by using lightweight.

The ferry is a 163 pax carbon fibre catamaran delivered in 2010 to the Swedish operator, Styrsöbolaget. It is powered by 2x MAN D2842 LE410 engines ( 2038 hp ) and equipped with CPP propellers from Servogear. It operates with a top speed of 30 knots, cruising speed fully loaded 27 knots.
The ship is built by Bröderna Aa in Hyen, Norway.
